H O R I Z O N S
This is a series of illustrations dedicated to the theme of horizons, the spiritual ones – the vastness of our possible emotions. I like to describe them with silence, composure and regality.
The series is currently in progress.
Sadness is a fundamental lens to put in perspective our own strength and the resources we have at our disposal.
It makes us looking a little further, up to horizons of all the possibilities.
We can bring sadness along with us, just like we wear a coat on our shoulders.
It is a veil, present and constant, between our most intimate “self” and the others.
It is not an obstacle, rather a travel companion and above all, if heard, it can flourish into a resource.
Sadness is proof of the strength we’ve had day after day, it’s a scar, it’s the depth of emotions we can receive and give.
